My top pleasures in life are my family, my friends (includes all of my PXT buddies), my pups, Crossfit training, my Work, and keeping up with my home and yard.
What is your job/business?
I’m the Human Resources Director for Otak Inc. in Lake Oswego .Â We are engineers and architects; we create great communities for people to live in.
What was your introduction to CrossFit like?
Cody started training me at Ballyâ€™s, and then I engaged in a 12 week boot camp with Cody to get back to fighting weight.
What interested you to start CrossFit?
Cody, he is a great trainer, I always get results when I follow his program. When I found out he had his own gym I knew I had to join, I have not been disappointed!
What class times are you usually at?
4:30 or 5:30
How often do you train?
2-4 times per week
What has your experience/results been since starting your training here?
I have gone from a fluffy 31 percent body fat to around 23 percent.Â When I get in 4 work outs per week I get closer to 18 percent.Â Besides looking great, I am stronger than I have ever been and have more stamina then ever before.
How have your goals changed since day 1?
My initial goal was to get rid of the middle age fat and mushiness.Â My goal now is to stay fit and feel greatâ€¦oh, and to keep lean.
What are your current goals (fitness and/or other areas)?
I would like to accomplish a dead hang pull up!
Any thing else we should know about you?
I love Cody and Jen and their kids, these are dedicated wonderful people.Â Being fit is an accomplishment that few experience ever, it is especially awesome to experience a six pack at 55. Â My long term goal is to dead lift double my body weight at 80.
I can’t quite imagine PXT without Cheri! She is one of just a few clients who has encouraged and supported us from the earlier days of our training. Many of you have ties to her and several of you have come to us as a result of her championing of our efforts.
Cheri, you have come a long way since those early sessions in your garage where you used to tell me “I don’t sweat”! No one works harder and we are very proud to have you here! I have NO DOUBTS that you will get that pull-up sooner than later, and 2xBW DL at age 80? -No prob!
