The CrossFit Games are a test of “elite” fitness. No doubt, the competition has risen to a level of only rare, professional athletes. But, there are more to the CrossFit Games than just the grand finale. Leading up to the big competition is a series of qualifiers that are intended to cast a wide net. The more competitors you can attract, the more likely you are to find new levels of elite competition.
However, the Open Competition is about more than just casting a wide net. The CrossFit Games also represents a unique opportunity to connect with a larger CrossFit Community. You literally have the opportunity to compete in the same arena as the future champion of the sport, along side people from all walks of life, and all sorts of levels. The Open is for you. It’s yours!
Like last year, we will again be performing the Open Workout each Wednesday as they are announced. I don’t know what they will be until they are announced each week. We will then have the opportunity to submit our team (everyone in the gym can be our team, it represents all of us- not just the best) scores online and participate in the games that will eventually culminate in the final tests of fitness this year in July.

And that means Masters too! Marge is leading the charge! She signed up to compete in the Masters Division…how about you?? What are you capable of?? We know- A LOT!!
