WOD :

“Barbara”

Complete 5 rounds for time of:

20 Pull-ups
30 Push-ups
40 Sit-ups
50 Squats

Rest exactly 3 minutes between each full round.

We’ve done this workout before right HERE., but before we had the wall clock, it was not possible to get the timing right for a group class. So this time we will do it as it was originally written. After completing each full round of all the movements, you will look at the clock and give yourself a full 3 minute rest. If you want to track each round for yourself you can use that 3 minutes to mark your time, but for the Gym Records we will just post your TOTAL time to complete including the 3 minute rests. No short-changing! Rest your FULL 3 minutes after each round!!!

Did You Know?

If you look to the right hand margin you will see a short menu of links. One says “WOD Journal”. If you click on that you will see every workout you’ve done at PXT since about the end of last August. You can claim your Athlete Profile, make notes and see all your scores, you can set up your profile to automatically share your workouts with friends on Facebook…even see a picture of the white board from any particular day! Check it out!

This wasn’t so bad for me, and I think it’s because I’ve listened to Cody enough by now. I’ve heard him talk about just chipping away at things. When I last tried to do 100 pull-ups, I tried to power through them; I didn’t want to drop from the bar. This time, I just eked out sets of four or three or two. Same with the push-ups. I still struggled with form at times, but by breaking things up, I was able to stay stronger longer. Of course, I still haven’t made it in to do the lunges today, so I’m still hurting. :)

This is the longest WoD I’ve ever done, but like JD I didn’t felt it that bad. I did go snail slow, I’ll compare notes when when do it again NEXT YEAR!
