Keep your pants on! (we’re climbing ropes):100701

WOD:

Complete 5 rounds for time of:
5 Front Squats, 80% of 1RM
25 box jumps, 24″, 18″
5 Rope climbs, From seated floor position back to seated floor postion for each rep.

    Serious question: Does the title of this post mean we should wear pants tomorrow? I’ve never been there for a rope climb before. (Or will my workout be scaled anyhow, so I should just wear shorts?)

    Yes! Long pants and long socks will help you keep the skin on your legs!

    I might not be in tomorrow morning, but it has nothing to do with me being terrified of the havoc all the rope climbs will wreak on my climbing tomorrow night.
    Almost nothing, anyway!

    Nothing for me today. Tried to metcon this morning, and after my first 500m row my back locked up and that was the end of it. I think the deadlifts yesterday really wore me out.

    I just want to point out that I CLIMBED THE FRICKIN’ ROPE! I didn’t actually do rope climbs for the work out (just rope lifts or sits or whatever they are), but I climbed the rope during practice! I’ve never climbed a rope before. In grade school, I couldn’t do it. It was my secret shame. Now I want to climb the rope again!
